The good ole New Jack Swing era. I remember when Teddy Riley sound influenced all of R&B in the 90's creating some very nice one hit wonders He even resurrected careers of struggling R&B artist at the same time. This genre made from some really good party and dance music. I thought we needed to give this fun time in music some shine to bring back good memories. You know what time of the year it is. It’s time to get back into shape!! This edition of my workout podcast is compiled of A tribe called quest instrumentals. This was one of my freestyle sessions that I made to complete my morning runs. I thought that my fans would definitely enjoy it, just because you know Tribe brought that heat when it came down to the beats. They changed the whole Hip Hop sound in the 90’s. I touched every one of their albums from People Instinctive to The Love Movement. So it’s time to hit that path and “Push it along” Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my podcast I greatly appreciate it. 1.His name is muddy ranks

The Funk Soul Rebel ensemble was a group that traveled between Cincinnati and Detroit by greyhound in the late 70’s playing any little smoke filled saloon they could find. They felt that the live instrumentation sound was lacking in the mainstream music scene, and they wanted to keep the funk and soul movement alive. As the years went on they noticed the interest for live music was not there. so they decided to disband the group. On their final show the young producer T Swift was in attendance, he offered them an opportunity to come to New York and record one last time. With T Swift overseeing their whole session, the Cincinnati/Detroit experience was born. T Swift also brought in some of our long time friends, the Ill Rahlos (Great God Cairo and Rude One with Boku Rule playing keys on some of the selections). So here it is, The Cincinnati/Detroit experience conducted by T Swift feat the Ill Rahlos. If you would like your music showcased with style you can contact me at DjTeknision@comcast.net, If you are looking for music with flare you can contact T Swift at TSwift098@gmail.com Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my podcast I greatly appreciate it. 1.Funk is as Funk does

I've always thought about putting out a beat series podcast from some of my favorite producers, so I figured why not start with one of my favorite producers and friend T SWIFT. When I tell you dude got heat I mean HEAT!!! Every track tells a story of it's own without vocals...pure SOUL music. He is a music historian and studies his craft and that is very evident in his music. I can listen to instrumental albums all day long from producers like J Dilla,Madlib,Oh No,Oddisee and Black Milk and I would put my man right up there with those names I just mentioned. With all the lyric deterioration in todays mainstream Hip Hop, the instrumental album will be the NEW standard for Hip Hop. T Swift is for hire and you could contact him at TSwift098@gmail.com or if you are a producer and would like your music showcased you can contact me at DjTeknision@comcast.net..Only Real MC's and producers need apply! ENJOY. Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my podcast I greatly appreciate it. 1.Aspirations

Do you remember the man that literally saved groups careers? Pete Rock was the MR REMIX MAN, he is one of the best Hip Hop producers ever!! With his work with Cl smooth and the countless acts that came to him for a beat when they wanted that vintage SP 12 sound. He kept me grooving and I hope with my help he does the same for you. So here is some of his beats to keep your head bobbin. Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my podcast I greatly appreciate it. 1. Fades 'em all - Jamal

Due to the overwhelming response to the kutlass supreme 80's hip hop podcast, I'm going to hit ya'll with a part 2 jump off. Like i said before the 80's was some good times in hip hop history. I don't ever want to forget the energy these songs brought to the original b boys and girls. I will always pay homage to original fathers of hip hop and also spread the word to those people who might of forgot or just not aware!! So here we go. I know the say the 90's was the golden era for hip hop, that might be true on the national level. I would have to argue that the 80's was just as good or even better. This is when hip hop was getting it's legs getting ready to take off. I guess you had to live in New York in the 80's to understand the feeling we got when we heard hip hop, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! I will try to create the scene for you with this podcast. I would like to dedicate this one to my partner KB, you remember chillin in the cutlass supreme listening to Red Alert and Marley Marl on Friday and Saturday nights with the OLDE ENGLISH in hand..HA HA!! Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my podcast I greatly appreciate it. TEKNISION
I HATE THE RADIO!!(Hip Hop) August 25, 2008 05:55 AM PDT
The title speaks for itself. The Hip Hop on the radio today does not represent the wide spectrum of artist we have in Hip Hop. There are a lot of artist from different regions with hot music that will never be noticed. It's all the politics that now chokes the creativity out of the radio, but here at my radio station I will play everything from the north, south east and west. If it is hot I will find it and spin it!! Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my pod cast I greatly appreciate it. TEKNISION

Due to the overwhelming response to the 90's episodes, I'm going to hit you with another one. This 90's episode was done with the stick n move technique. No song is played longer than a minute and a half. Me and my crew used this technique back in the days to keep the dance floor heated!!! so enjoy. Once again I would like to thank everyone who listens, download and subscribe to my pod cast I greatly appreciate it.
